I hope I don’t know anyone like that but I believe it’s because that person most likely only had a kid with an agenda to gain personal recognition to begin with and then realized that recognition doesn’t last forever so then they make up scenarios and illnesses that make people feel bad for that own person

My dad dated a woman that we all swear had it.
It was all she talked about was her kids had or were getting tested for some unknown medical issue.
My dad never saw that in her.

Sure, I had it as a kid. Like the vast majority of psychological disorders it's caused by unresolved childhood trauma.

In clinical terms it's a mental disorder and in legal terms it's called a "sociopathic predator "

Sociopathic is an outdated and now unused psychiatric term that I wish to hell people would stop using and mischaracterizing as to its actual meaning when it actually even had one. It no longer has any legitimate meaning at all.
