If you're booked in for a massage (not from your partner), do you prefer someone of your gender or the opposite gender? Why is that?

Opposite gender for me. I simply cannot relax very well around other men. Most of the people I had in my corner growing up were women.

Massages require one to totally relax and trust the person touching them. Around other men, my instinct to be ready for a fight kicks in, preventing the relaxation needed. Outside of sparring, I have never been in a fight with women.

I'm not dong the greatest job explaining what I'm trying to say. It may seem sexist, but it is simply easier for me to let my guard down around women.

I've never had a massage from anyone other than my SO, but if I was going to get a massage I think I would prefer it to be from the opposite gender as I am more used to being touched by the opposite gender.

Although, if I got a woman massage person I wouldn't complain.

I don't really care BUT I've never had a massage before. I just ask my wife to do it. I don't go pay strangers to do it to me.

My wife doesn't go pay for them either. If she did I'd only stand for a woman doing it. Her being half naked for 30 minutes or an hour with some man looking down at her body and putting his hands on her crosses my boundaries.

Getting my commitment means you forgo letting other men getting access to your naked body like that or touching you for an hour.

90% of the men I've gotten massages from relied solely on their relative strength over their female counterparts. I LIKE a rough massage, but I've found the women have better technique, so if you find a strong woman you get the best of both worlds.
