My pants fit losser but my weight scale doesn't move?

A few things that could be goin on:

- Muscle tone - Have you been more active lately? Even just going for walks or yoga builds your muscles and tightens you up without adding weight. Muscle is denser than fat.

- That time of the month - Bloating and water retention around your period can make your clothes fit different without the scale changing.

- Scale calibration - Sometimes they just get stuck! Try moving it to a new surface or even a different scale to compare.

- Pants stretch - As we wear our faves more, the fabric can loosen up a little so they feel looser even if you're the same.

I wouldn't stress too much sis. Take progress pics instead of relying on one number. And remember - being strong and toned is way better than just skinny! Maybe take your measurements too if the scale's stressin you out. As long as you feel good, that's what matters. Keep doin your thing girl!

Is it all of your recently worn pants?

If so, then you'd have more clarity taking your own hip, waist and bust measurements, writing them down, then measure them again in, say, two weeks. That'll show if there's a shape-change happening. if not, then it's either the pants or you're getting more muscular and losing bodyfat.

It could also happen if you drank extra water or ate a high weight meal. A gallon of water weighs about 7lb.

With measurements, it helps to repeat each one a few times and take the highest, since bodies aren't straight lines.

Whoops, highest on hips and bust, lowest on waist, since that's when the measuring instructions aim to find.

Its because you lost fat but gained muscle. Muscle is heavier than fat. So you did well. Don't look at the scale. Your muscle/fat ratio is more important for your body look

Muscle is denser than fat. Nobody ever looked at themselves in a mirror and thought they looked fat, then stood on some scales and realised they weren't.

Sometimes we lose water weight, is why the scale doesn't show a reduce in weight.

Weigh yourself naked and at the same time every day. I weigh myself when I wake up.
