Don't worry. As you grow older, this will go away and you will gradually welcome death.

It's like Paul Edgecomb at the end of "The Green Mile".
He was 108 years old and God condemned him to live for centuries or even millennia for "killing a miracle of God".
But, because of death, that gives your life meaning and purpose and urgency. You will discover who you are as you live your life and learn the preciousness of each day.
If you have lived your life well, you will be comforted that what you have accomplished has improved the world in some way.
But, if, like me, you have not lived your life well, you can still take solace in those accomplishments but also be thankful for the end that will come of the ever-present haunting pain of life.

If you think back doesn't it feel like you have been living for a very long time? Because when I was 18 years old it rightfully felt like a very long time and considering its little over half my life it still does.
Then imagine that you will probably will still life 5 times that entire length.
Does this fear help you with anything?
If not, focus on other things. All conscious beings are one way or another afraid of dying. It's part of a mortal life. But you can do totally nothing with it, so wasting your limited resources for feeding this fear is not helping you in any way.
As intelligent beings we can decide where we want to redirect our resources. Develop your skills you can use at your future work, or focus on your hobbies or social life. You will die for sure, so stop thinking about it, accept the fact, and focus on your life itself. Enjoy it. Feel it. Live it.
Get out an actually live and have fun. If at 18 your life is already going by fast you definitely are not enjoying your time. You shouldn't be feeling that way until at least your late 20's lol. Make memories, hang out with friends, time feels longer when you have lots of memories and stories to talk about.

Hi sweetie. Aww, you are so young to have this thought of fear of getting old and dying.
I am 69 years old and here I am on a young people's website.
I only fear death because my disabled son needs me. I can't leave him.
You are aware that everyone is going to die and there is nothing we can do to stop it, except to prolong it by taking care of yourself.
You must make being healthy your focus instead of the fear. If you know you are eating good nutritious food and drink, then you are doing something to help take away from some of your fears.
Please don't ruin your life by being afraid. That's not the way to go.
Now, get to the store and get some healthy food and eat it. Nourish your body. Read about nutritional food to eat. Yeah, you'll be too busy to be afraid because you have a life to live.
Sage🌹You're 18. By the time you get to 40, medicine will have advanced to the point where the aging process won't be irreversible. You'll be able to both look, and be, young again. :)
I'm 22 and getting older, t least you are 18 younglin 🙃
Thinking of it as a natural process, also in time you will realize that the mind and soul can carry so much and it is just natural to get old and die
Get a job in the Chinese construction industry. Those guys never get old.
