Heating which dries the air, less sun, more pollution in the air... or just your hormonal thingy...

If the pimples are uniform and evenly distributed then, it is a fungal infection, which can arise from sweat and/or waxing that causes inflammation and disrupts the skin flora. However, if the pimples are not uniform and uneven, then it is a bacterial infection, which can arise from sweat, abrasive rubbing against surfaces (like a piece of gym equipment), a hormonal imbalance, medication, non-comedogenic topicals, dietary issues, etc.

Winter tends to be a drier season in many parts of the world, and we also tend to layer up more. I know I don't sweat nearly as much in the winter as I do in the summer despite being active outdoors year-round. Food intake/diet maybe contributing as well.

Winter acne is a name for breakouts that occur during the winter season. These breakouts can often be more severe and difficult to treat, primarily due to winter's dryness. The cold outdoor winter weather holds less moisture in the air, which draws moisture away from your skin.

It might be possible they aren't pimples and they might be ingrown hairs, only logical explanation I can think of is that from the dry air of the winter, the hairs dried up and maybe had complications popping out of the follicles, something like that

Cause if so it's possible you sweat and the clothing you have on help the sweat get stuck in the pores from the compression.

Yea but you do know high amounts of sweat clean your pores, it's one of the idea for saunas, they clean your skin so it's possible the bits of sweat you get on your back during the winter is enough to clog your pores but you don't sweat enough for it to clean our your pores.

It means you are not suited to winters. Are you drinking enough water in winters? Because lots of people are dehydrated and end up I'll and with acne since we don't perspire as much in winters compared to summers.

Yeah but you are not perspiring. So, toxins can accumulate in the body and your acne isn't that much to need treatment. I think you look beautiful naturally. I hope you are doing well after the break up. You are not too hurt are you?

Because you’re skin is usually still moist when you put your clothes on, also when your skin dries it over produces oil. Use witch hazel toner on your back and a nice light moisturizer, I promise it will help.

Smells nasty but if you use garlic on painful deep break outs they go away overnight.

Changes in skin care products? Increase dryness from winter weather can also cause it.

I usually tend to moisturize a bit more during winter
If that's the case then it can cause pimples due to over moisturizing

during the winter the skin is drier and lacks hydration

The cold and dryness that comes with cold temperatures can cause inflammation, which is one of the main pathogenic factors for acne formation n black pimples

because you wear more clothing in the winter to stay warm. your skin isn't breathing as well as it does in the summer. therefore, your pores get clogged and cause your pimpling

You have sunlight on your back which kills bacteria. You sweat more and the sweat flushes dirt from your pores. If you have access to a steam room , that will help during the winter.

Less humidity and less sun allow the oils that cause pimples to build up more in winter than in any other season.

Lack of sunlight. Heavy clothes that don’t let the skin breathe properly. Dry skin from artificial heat.

These are my hypothesis. My skin clears up with a good dose of sunlight

Hard to say. Is it something you only wear in winter, like a wool sweater? Could be an allergy.
