My poor son has been stricken with migraines since he was a baby, and he would vomit with them sometimes.
I started getting actual migraines in my late 30's.
So then we'd have them together.
One thing I noticed with him was during the winter I would keep the house really warm. Well, he couldn't take the heat, even su shine would cause a migraine for him.
So I lowered the temperature in the house and put a box fan in his room to keep it cool. That really helped cutting down to just a few instead of everyday.
We also took prescription medicine especially for migraines and that helped, but insurance would only pay for 9 a month.
They have Excedrin migraine pills. Those might help.
My nephew has to drink coffee when he get's a migraine. He drinks coffee and takes Excedrin migraine pills and puts a cold folded washcloth over his eyes while laying in a cold, dark, quiet room.

In general, the best help for migraines is to kill it before it appears. Before the actual pain comes, you feel a kind of aura in or around your head. Different people feel it differently.
It's enough to take a painkiller at this moment, not to let migraines develop. I learned when I was one night in the ER waiting for help because I couldn't get any more pain. The doctor who made me an injection of a mix of painkillers and sleep medicine told me to try it that way.
It has worked for me since then, over 20 years...
I don't get headaches or migraines. As soon as I read your question the amino acid taurine came to mind and then magnesium. See these articles:
I’ve never gotten them. In my experience seems like it’s always women that get them. I’m sure some men do as well but I work w a shit ton of women in medical. Always a female calling off w a migraine, w the exception of one dude who is very feminine.

I think the word "migraine" is far too overused. Most people are just having headaches. They use the term "migraine" to give it more weight or seriousness than it deserves.
I've only had 2 migraines in my life, and I hardly ever get headaches. A true migraine can actually affect your vision, as both did with me. Freaked me out the first time to.
I’ve heard sex and or masturbation gets rid of migraines and headaches
I never get them, however I frequently get headaches normally if I've not had enough to drink or somehow consumed too much sugar. I take ibuprofen and it helps all the time, stronger than paracetamol
A cocktail of Caffeine, Ibuprofin, and tylenol while laying down in a dark quiet room
