What happens if I don’t send back all the inhalers sent to me in a clinical trial?

I’m doing one now from home. I use an inhaler given to me by the company to try out and see now it works for me. They sent me a total of 8, I will likely go through half. They’ve said I sent everything back when I’m done. I just realized I can’t find one of the boxes with two inhalers in it. Will this be a serious thing or does it matter 😭 im paranoid

Hey baby relax, it's probably not that serious. Here's what I'd do:

- Don't freak out or admit anything yet. Chill on that for a bit.

- Check everywhere for that missing inhaler box again. Maybe it got stuck behind something you overlooked. Be thorough.

- If you really can't find it after another search, call the company and just say you miscounted how many they sent. Play dumb.

- Tell them you double checked and you're definitely missing a box. Apologize and ask what they need you to do.

- Worst case they may send someone for a site visit to verify your supply. Just stay calm and be honest that you have no idea where it went.

- They’re likely more concerned with safety data than a few lost samples. As long as you followed instructions otherwise I’m sure you’ll be alright.

Don't panic yet mama. And definitely don't try selling it or anything stupid. They'll just need to account for it, that's all. You should be good, just breathe! (No pun intended haha).
