Is it weird that I'm afraid to lose all the weight?

Hear me out... I know I need to lose weight. God knows I know I do. But I fear being small. I fear the attention I'm going to get when I become small. I've always been fat so I don't know what it's going to be like to be small.

I weigh over 250 right now and I know that's a lot of weight and I need to be at 110 to 118 for my height of 5'3.5".

So far I've lost 26lbs and it's great that I'm losing the weight and fast too (I'm on week 5). But I just have this fear that people are going to treat me different and expect more out of me.

Is my fear valid? Even though I know I need to get healthy and not worry about what will happen once I am at a healthy weight, I still have that fear of being treated differently.

And I know the attention should be a good thing but I'm not the type of person that likes a lot of attention. I'm used to being in the background.
