im getting surgery Monday and im scaredddd af lmfao

I can only imagine how terrified my son must have been when he was 28 and had emergency open heart surgery and had his whole chest cracked open with staples instead of stitches.
He was so brave and never complained once ❤️
Broke my leg 3 months ago and had a surgery to get it fixed, nothing scary at all.
The day before surgery I got the best sleep, because I knew very soon my break would be fixed.
exactly what’s happening to me yoooooo
Broke your leg too, girl? No way
I am here for you, if you need chat.
You’ll be fine I promise
I had my first lovely stroll in the streets today, have been walking like I own the world haha
You’ll be fine, relax and follow the doctor
is your leg healed?
Hey, It’s still healing. Bones take up to a year to heal.
My break was a bad one taking up to 6 months at least.
But It’s been 3 months and I can already walk, I am still having physical therapy to be able to walk faster and get back to sporty life soon.
How are you? That will be a tough journey, but that will be your journey! In the end of which, you’ll walk again, and you’ll be stronger and a wiser version of yourself. More confident too ;)
So, hold on strong and enjoy the ride.
You’ll feel depressed some days, you’ll feel optimistic other days, but it will get better soon!
I promise.
Most importantly you are having surgery, which will fix your broken bone greatly.
I am happy you are having the surgery.
The rest will come.
Step by step.
Stay strong.
You’ll need to learn how to carry yourself on your shoulders literally and once you do that, you’ll be a stronger person as recovered.
I am still not fully recovered and still about 3 months to go till 6 months - which is a timeline for a recovery of my bone.
But you see I am enjoying life already.
Be careful and take care. Eat a good diet and just relax.
It will get better.
The first day after surgery will be the most difficult, after that every day is getting far better and better.
But the most difficult day of all is the day you broke your leg.
That day is left in the past.
You’re getting closer to recovery with every new day!
You’ve got this girl!
thanks! ❤️
Hey girl, how’s it going?
Did the surgery go well?
hiiii! im doing okay
yeah i barely remember anything, only waking up 😄
Great to know haha
I wish you a speedy recovery!
Stay strong! 💖✨
And don’t feel discouraged while you are unable not to walk.
Don’t think you are unlucky it happened to you.
Accept and embrace your recovery journey.
Best of luck.
thank you!
@LaFemmeFatale_1 That must have been a bad break.
@exitseven that was a bad break, but I’m still here standing and walking so I’m pretty optimistic about my final recovery
@LaFemmeFatale_1 It is a process but you are young and will snap back pretty quick. Just don't overdo it.
Nope, unless I need a bullet pulled out of me I don't see myself on a surgery bed, I can make you feel more nervous tho if you'd like 😌
Bruh
also mb i was rude, once a month thing is happening 💀
Its alright, forgive and forget 🙂 *pats head*
And it's understandable, I get it 💯🍫
@ChicoFromThe305 Don;t be a baby, get a pair of needle nosed pliers and just pull that sucker out.
If only it was that easy

I was afraid of the anesthesia that I wouldn't wake up... but I'm still here, so maybe they were right that everything would be alright?
wait does anesthesia hurt
no, why?
because don’t they use it on you for surgery
You don't even know it happened, they give you something to keep you calm, wheel you in there and they're all chattering away and all of a sudden you're waking up in a recovery room and you don't remember a thing. It's a huge deal for you but they do this all day long and really the people who have problems are old and very sick to begin with.
oh ok so ill just not remember anything?
Yes. You will be okay. Just follow the instructions prior to surgery. What you getting done?
i broke my leg so they need to do surgery to help get it fixed

Yes. My right leg was shattered in an accident when I was 16. Fibula broken in eight places. Tibia fracture was compound.
