I find physical scars are fine, they often tell a story or let you cover it when someone notices them. The scars you can really share are those emotional ones you pick up, the ones that slam your mental health, those are the scars that often define us as a person
I have a scar on my left leg that doesn't look pretty all. It was from a bone surgery for a bone tumor. I wouldn't say I'm too embarrassed about it. People are usually like wtf is that? And I just tell them the story. I'm not empowered by it either. It's neither here nor there.
Neither embarrassed nor empowered, Idgaf about what people think and I accepted them so it feels like as if I don't any physical scars
I have many scars on my body & I tend to keep them covered.

I still have scars on my bottom from the vicious beatings I had to endure at the hands of the two Black women who used to thrash me within an inch of my life quite frequently a few years ago.
Sorry to hear about that. But are you empowered by them or embarrassed by them?
I earned my scars. Proud to have made it through.
I knew a lady that got shot in the face, had a nice joker scar on one side where the rifle bullet sliced through.
She was bubbling hot. Had a mean right hook, too.
I don't have many scars and none of them are visible in everyday life. One is hidden in my eyebrow, one is on my butt, etc. The closest is one on my shoulder, but it doesn't look all that impressive.
Neither tbh. I don't think highly or negatively about them. They're just there.
They are memries to me. I will cover them at times to protect others eyeballs. Other times they are badges of reality of life.
someday maybe we have better technology like start trek...
No. I had an appendectomy before they done laparoscopically. I seldom think about it.
No, I'm neither embarrassed by or empowered by my physical scars, they are just a product of my life/work.
There's really embarrasing or empowering about them they are what they are.
More embarrassed. Because they are imperfections at the end of the day
It’s interesting, because Americans are more embarrassed by scars whereas people in other countries don’t care as much.
Not embarrassed but not confident enough to go shirtless in public place… don’t want people to give me the “poor guy” kinda look
I have a few from getting striches... no big deal
No, i own them!
mine are too little... make no difference
I think my scars define me.
Yes
Because i have one in my ass
Neither, they are just scars
I don't have physical scars.
It depends on how I got the scar.
