A skin condition where the skin reddens and flares up when applied pressure, it usually lasts up to 15 to 30 minutes then disappears. It gets so itchy especially at night. its called Dermatographia
Does anyone know how to treat this? it gets itchy, most at night. it is so uncomfortable?
Yeah, It kind of looks like poison oak or poison Ivy except for the lines... when I end up pushing through those plants it's like that but only in patches.
So I just did some research on Dermatographia and I guess my cat scratch example is similar. Scratching or rubbing the skin causes it. Your skin is having the same welting reaction except your skin is way more sensitive... as for the itchy feeling, I'm itchy all the time. I scratch my itches with scrubbers that are meant to be used for cleaning toilets and I bet your skin wouldn't handle that so well at all. I avoid soap because it makes it worse... I basically just soap armpits and the butt/junk and don't touch the rest of the body (I do shampoo for the head also). Have you seen a dermatologist about it yet?
I'd say your body is having an ultra reaction to scratching. I get the same thing, but I'm literally scratching hard enough to draw blood. I don't see any blood on your pics but you have the welts.
@sungie28. You're welcome. I wound recommend a trip to your ENT to do allergy testing. If the allergic reactions are annoying enough you might consider immunotherapy.

That looks like poltergeist stuff to me. That's a for real condition though?
Damn... the only time my arms looked like that, it was play fighting with my cat. Those claws would cut deep and left me with a bunch of scars.
It is a real condition 🤦🏻‍♀️weird how things work on the body hey, I don’t have a cat so yeah

Looks like an allergic reaction. Try an OTC steroidal cream. You need to identify what the source of the reaction is.
Thank you
