I am tired of constantly itching what can I do?

Hi! I have been diagnosed with eczema in the past. Normally it is on my arms. However, I constantly itch the same areas on my legs. I put lotion on all the time such as gold bond; however, even after I apply lotion it still itches in the same areas. I do not have redness or visual dry patches of skin. I scratch to the point it creates a sore and bleeds. which then is the only time it does not itch. Once the sores are gone completely the itching comes back. I need some help. I am tried of constantly having sores on my legs. I was thinking of seeing a dermatologist once I get back to Texas where I live in 3 months. What can I do in the meantime?

You need to talk to your doctor again and make sure your liver is healthy. Just your legs and without the dry patches doesn't sound like eczema to me. Two of my kids had eczema and it was always a patch. Itchy legs to that extent can indicate jaundice.

Colloidal oatmeal baths helped me and our youngest child. Try lotions that are complex plant based as well. No perfumes

Perhaps a ph balanced soap and or washing powder for your clothes etc could help?

Most deodorants have aluminium in them which can cause irritation too.

Friend of mine has that. He usually uses cerave lotion or this balm stuff. Remind me later and I'll see if I can find out what it is
