I think it had to be the lobster bisque I had because it was the only thing that nobody else that I was eating with ate. When I got home, I got incredibly dizzy and nauseous and felt really sick. I had to lie down for a while. I thought I was gonna throw up. I didn’t, but I felt like it.

Whoa dude, that soup must have not agreed with you! I've definitely had moments like that after eating something funky before.
A few thoughts on what it could've been:
- Seafood allergy/intolerance -Even if you've had lobster before, could've been a reaction to whatever was in that batch of bisque.
- Bad batch - If it sat out too long or wasn't stored right, bacteria could grow and make you ill. Happens sometimes with soup.
- Spicy ingredients - Did it have any hot peppers, seasonings you're not used to? Too much spice can wreak havoc on your stomach.
- Dehydration - Were you drinking enough water that day? Sometimes feeling off can be from being low on fluids.
Either way dude, sounds like your body was not having it! Best thing is rest and light foods the next day till you feel better. And maybe avoid that restaurant's bisque in the future, just to be safe haha. Feel better man!

It could be that your symptoms had nothing to do with the meal you had , could have just been a coincidental stomach virus or more likely just indigestion. I say that as Food poisoning is bacteria in the food which pretty much always presents with vomiting and diarrhea which you didn’t mention in your symptoms.
Having spent a few years in the catering industry I am remind of my tutors words as I sat through hours of food hygiene training. “ if it’s not coming out both ends it’s NOT food poisoning 🤮 💩
Could be food poisoning.
