Do you get exhausted after eating to the point where doing anything makes you drowsy and you have to just shut your eyes for a few minutes but then you’ll wake up a long while later?

Yes, but primarily:
• On days where I don't get enough sleep, which causes my body to not able to be as efficient in it's many functions.
• when I haven't chewed my food well enough, causing my body to have to work harder to breakdown the food.
• when I eat a higher protein or fiber diet. FIber & especially Proteins are notoriously harder to digest. It's what makes them so thermogenic. You might even suddenly feel hotter when proteins are digesting in the stomach.
• when I've eaten a high glycemic high carb meal without enough fats or fiber, causing my insulin levels to shoot up & then back down again relatively quickly.

I don’t get exhausted, but sometimes I get sweaty because my body is getting all that energy from the food but anyway the reason that you’re getting tired after eating because of the proteins kicking in and you’re probably been tired from the day and the protein relaxes you all that protein and you start falling asleep in the chair after you’re done with your dinner

I think it depends on your metabolism. Mine is extremely fast so my energy comes from the food in my stomach. When empty I'm tired. I get a rush when I eat.

Blood goes to the stomach so it is normal to feel sleepy after eating a lot. But you seem to be strongly affected so get checked.

It seems that you are overeating. If you eat too much the stomach is overwhelmed and all of your blood goes into your szomach and so there us not enought blood for the brain

Yes I have that problem now. I am on wegovi and I've lost 40 lb so far. And if I do overeat which on this medicine is like 1/3 of what I used to I will feel very full and drowsy. You should however get that checked out.

It depends on the size of the meal and if I drink alcohol, I only actually feel tired when I've drank alcohol, taken meds or physically or mentally worn myself out to the max but even then it might not work I got hyper insomnia

Oh a food coma? Yeah everyone feels lethargic after eating a ton of carbs.

If you go out for a walk after eating a ton of carbs the lethargy won't hit you as bad
