Why my period are late?

I am virgin, but my periods being late for week. I eat a lot and gained a lot of weight, so if I had active sexual life I would assume that I’m pregnant. What can cause it? Can any type of illness be reason?

Just sounds like a hormonal change. Especially if you don’t have the best diet. Does not necessarily mean there is an illness. Like for me, recently I had 2 periods in one month because of my hormones fluctuating.

Lots of things can cause you to skip a period. Not eating enough, stress, medical issues.. are a few of many. You need to ask a doctor to find out your cause.
