I tried a couple times. Once unintentionally.
1. Dec. 1981. We were playing a gig and, during the first break, we went to sit with some of the audience. The jukebox was on loud enough to be heard on the Moon!. A girl sitting next to me said something to me but I had no idea what so, I turned to her to say, "What?" and, when I did, she kissed me and orally shoved this huge pill into my mouth. Before I had a chance to spit it out, it started to dissolve. Well. she'd already taken 5 before she got there and her boyfriend had already had 10 and they were still VERY active and none the worse for ware so, I grabbed my root beer and washed it down. I later found out it was a nembutal... industrial strength downer! It kicked my as for the next 2 hours!! How I never fell backwards off the "stage" (a pool table with 2 folding tables nailed onto it), I don't know!
2. Dec. 12th 1992. One of my roadies (Dan) lived 2 blocks from me and was having a party at his place and invited my future ex-fiance & I. While there, and we were all sitting on this large circular couch, the bhong started coming around. As usual, when it comes to me, I just take it and pass it to the next person and then, usually, get gasps of astonishment that I don't imbibe! Also, as usual, those that know me try to tease me and get me to try it. Well, this time, I decided to give it a go just to see what all the fuss was about. First hit just burned my throat. A few minutes later, I tried a second hit and that burned my throat. Enough for me! I had no more the rest of the night or the following fiscal year.
A year later to the day, Dan had another party and we went to that one, too. Again, on the circular couch, the bhong came around and I passed it on. Again, astonishment from those that don't know me and a bit of teasing from those that do. And, again, I decided to give it just one more try. I took another hit, it burned my throat, I was done!
I've never tried drugs since.

No. I don't like drugs. I've occassionly smoked weed. Very occassionaly. As part of a dare mainly. I don't smoke cigarettes even so not my thing. I don't wanna waste my money on anything like that lol.

Coffee, every day, multiple times a day, I'm literally drinking coffee right now. Been drinking coffee ever since I was 9, and I'm never gunna stop.

Cannabis, tried it, I get the bad paranoia, and don't see the appeal.
