Do you think it is normal for me to experience this? How can I deal with it?
I can't sleep at night because of fear?

Trending & News My boyfriend died suddenly 9 months ago just down the hallway from the apartment we were both living in together. He was cleaning an empty apartment as a favor to the disabled man who moved out.
I am so glad I wasn't there to see him dead. I didn't want to beause I know I would be like you are now. Unable to handle seeing him that way.
I know you can't just put it out of your mind. We can't unring a bell.
Someone suggested seeing a hypnotherapist. If you can find a good one maybe they can help you.
I'm not sure if a therapist could help unless they have a lot of experience with the issues you are having.
I am so sorry you are going through this. I pray that you get the help you need.
Thank you for saying rest in peace for my boyfriend.
I wish there was more I could say or do to comfort you.
I guess you sleep alone?
I usually don't say this to people but maybe a little kitten 😻 would be a comfort to you and sleep with you
I know my kitty cat was my comforter for 13 years. She slept with me starting the first night I brought her home. She slept right above my head every night.
If you do want to get a little kitten, be sure that it has been around good nurturing people since it was born. They are the only kind that are mellow and would love to give you attention.
I bought 2 kittens at a pet store and neither of them wanted anything to do with me. They didn't even want me to pet them or touch them.
If you are able to get a kitten 😻 please be sure to ask if it has been raised with good nurturing people.
Grief and death are funny things. I am not certain there is a "normal" when experiencing the death of a loved one. All I can say is in my opinion if this continues you may need to seek some professional help to guide you through this...
I think it's probably fairly normal. It's nothing to be concerned about. There isn't really anything you can do about it. It will pass with time.
I had similar happen after my father died. It didn't scare me, but whenever he appeared in a dream, I'd jerk wide awake. It was instant. Then it would take a while to get back to sleep. It happened a lot right after he died.
It didn't happen with other people I knew who died, but it did with him. That might be because I was closer to him when he died, because I had been living with him for five years.
Yes, our relationship with different people can make a bid difference. There was a big difference in how I reacted when my mother died compared to when my father died. I had been living with my father for five years. On the other hand, I had seen very little of my mother for 15 years before she died. So I was already used to not seeing or talking to her.
Of course it is normal, I did not sleep well for months after my mothers death. You might try some light exercise, walking for a while before trying to sleep, and perhaps try taking Benadryl, which is what I take when I cannot sleep.
Terribly sorry to hear of your loss and your trauma as a result

this happens when you are young. i'm assuming this is one of the first deaths you've experienced?
eventually you'll be okay. i'm sorry for your loss. i lost my grandpa when i was 10 and was like this too.
Yes, I have never lost anyone in my life before, and I grew up with my grandfather, he was very special to me, I miss him very much.
Try to always think positive about him and that he is alive, only his physical body died!
Try to remember the happy moments with him 🙂
In the end, you can always message me if you're feeling scared or couldn't sleep miss ellefia, i'll try to comfort you and cheer you up dancing girl 😄

It’s okay to feel like this but is causing you distress. It would be best to seek therapy
You will get over it. It us pretty normal. Just try to think of something you enjoyed doing with him or something funny he used to do
Time will heal the heart and your loss. It's a terrible thing to lose a loved one, but it happens to us all.
Maybe see a psychologist for PTSD or hypnotherapy. Not uncommon for people who've lost a loved one to see them in their dreams.
Don’t know. Grandfather was old. You’re young. Young people rarely die in their sleep. Boom next.
its totally fine but if it continues u may need therapy
Is marijuana legal in your country? That keeps me from having nightmares
Maybe you loved him so much
Don't worry.. everything will be good time by time
Maybe normal. See a doctor if you haven't seen.
See a psychologist. And I’m being serious
Yes. See a psychologist. They will help you
Just be calm... he was your grand father... so why u fear..
No that's no normal you may need to seek professional help
I know that feeling
did you see him die?
Scared of what?
