Girls, if you could remove your uterus with no negative effects from surgery would you?

Yes I would do it since I am not planning on having any children and to me a uterus is therefore a nonsense. I would however also need to know whether, from a medical point of view, if a hysterectomy has no other negative consequences, mainly when it comes to a substantial gain in quality of life. Not having a uterus has only advantages in my opinion and I would probably even consider to have a vaginal cuff above the cervix as well as the total closing of the vagina by means of surgery and just to have the opening for the urethra.

I would see nothing but advantages in that procedure and a substantial increase of quality of life.

I don't know. A hysterectomy could prevent many gynecological cancers such as ovarian cancer and it eliminates the possibility of uterine cancer

If I had the chance to actually get one without a medical reason I'd only do so after menopause

I’m already planning on it. The day after my 35th birthday I’m getting an ablation or a hysterectomy because no one will argue with me at that point.
