What does my doctor want to tell me?

I am under weight 89 pounds, and I asked my obgyn if they could help with my weight and I just got a call back from them saying that my doctor wants me to come in tomorrow to talk, does that mean he can help or he wants to explain why he can’t do it?

Unless you are anorexic or have bulimia you may have some other problem, like thyroid or hormonal imbalance. Best go in and see him so you can nip any medical issues in the bud.

It is the duty of a doctor to help his/her patients and if your obgyn calls you to tell you that you need to come in, it is because your condition is causing them to want to talk to you about the steps that need to be taken for you to gain weight.

You can rest assured that you CAN be helped but you also have to want to be helped. If you have issues like eating disorders and you are just not taking food because of whatever reason you may have, then all the doctors will not be able to help you until you settle this issue that is of psychological nature.

So, the question is: Do you want to be helped or not? If yes, then they will be able to help you.

Maybe he has a game plan maybe he just wants to repeat himself in charge you just to repeat himself charge your insurance company that way they keep their business running unless there’s something else. Of course they / he / she can help , its not difficult , they will put you on a program , follow all of it , but it should be a sit down holistic discussion , you are coming from a better end of this than most , height dependent the goal should be around 50kg but with lean muscle improvement.

And that is extremely underweight you weigh less than I do I would start to get your weight up otherwise you're going to have to get these crappy little tube paste food things. They are not good

Sounds like he wants to talk about the situation. Usually they don't call you into the office just to tell you that they can't help you. I recommend eating more cakes, specifically of the cup variety.
