What do you think the doctor told the patient about me?

So I’m a nurse and yesterday the doctor and I went to do the dressing on some patients. The doctor is from Turkey and one of the patients happened to speak turkish and so they start talking. And at one point the doctor looked at me while smiling and told the patient something and he responded and they started laughing. I started jokingly asking them to tell me what they were talking about me and the doctor, still laughing and smiling, told me nothing and so I asked the patient and I saw him thinking about what to tell me for like half a second and he told me that the doctor told him that I’m a great specialist but I don’t believe him. So what do you think he actually told him about me? Mind you I’ve recently developed a crush on this doctor and any chance I get I go do the dressing with him or something else. And every time we work together something funny happens and we end up laughing. And recently he started taking to me more often and I’m curious if maybe he feels the same way about me?

To me, personally, it sounds like that doctor isn't the most professional... I've never had any physician I've worked with so anything like that to me or any of the other nurses I've worked with.

I'm guessing what he said was inappropriate... especially about the nurse in the middle of patient care...

So far I'm not a fan of this doctor.

Omg nooo he’s actually so polite and educated and such a sweetheart. And he’s always smiling and laughing. Plus he’s amazing with the patients, takes care of them and takes the time to explain and answer their questions. He’s also polite with all the nurses and other doctors. But I’m just so curios what he actually told him because if it really was that I’m a great specialist he wouldn’t have told me it was nothing lol

You know him better than I do.

I just always get suspicious of someone says "nothing" after something like that.

I guess if you have the time, you could just ask him later.

From the sounds of it he just joked a little with patient. Don’t think a Doctor will risk his career over a joke to paintent about the nurse. Patient could file complaints so Doctor probably said your your in the hands of a professional nurse

I think you need to flirt with him and see if you can find out.

Yes I’ve been thinking about flirting with him since we already tease each other sometimes. He also asked me recently if I speak English since it’s easier for him to speak in English rather than in Bulgarian because we live and work in Bulgaria. And I told him that I do speak English and he was delighted by that and so I’m thinking of speaking in English to him. Also I’m wondering if I should follow him on Instagram, because I send him a friend request on Facebook last month and he accepted it but I also don’t want to seem too forward or clingy.
