Why did this doctor speak to me like this?

I had to admit to him I was a virgin which was relevant to what we had to discuss. he replied back shortly after ‘22 and a vuurgiiiin…’ that’s the best way of describing how he said it through the spelling of the word virgin. What do you think he was thinking when he said the sentence like that as it implied something

Sounds like he assumes you aren't actually a virgin, but if he said that as condescendingly as I read it; it is wildly inappropriate for a medical professional to say something like that to his patient. Unless your virginity is actually a medically critical factor where he NEEDS to know if you've been with someone else for a diagnosis or whatever, it's strange that he wouldn't just take your word.
