Was this medical technician trying to insult me?

So I'm small and skinny. I had a cardiology doctor's appointment and as I was walking with the medical technician to the examination room she asked to check my weight.

I went to where they had the scale and I stepped on it. My weight was 104.4 lbs and she said out loud "Ok, 104.4 with shoes and a jacket on." And for some reason that made me feel bad.

Plus she told me I could keep my jacket and shoes on. It felt like she was judging me, the technician was overweight so maybe that's why... Does it seem like she was judging me? Was she being rude? Just curious because for some reason I got bothered by her.

Nurse here. I've taken a lot of patient weights. More than likely, the tech was not making fun of you in any way. They very well may have just been talking out loud so they don't forget your weight when documenting.

Think nothing of it. I haven't ever had a nurse speak out loud, "With shoes and jacket on," but, actually, I think she was probably adding that standard 5 lb (in North America), as is customary for clothing. I've read about this.

Standard operating procedure. Nothing insulting here at all.
