Yes, definitely! Mostly because it would put a stop to continue to do this to anyone else.
That's my thinking!!
At least 15 years ago, some guy in New Zealand who flew crop dusting planes for a living ended up in a coma. The Dr.'s did what they supposedly could for him and told the family it's best just to pull the plug on him. They refused and heard that massive doses of vitamin C would bring him out of the coma. Of course, the Dr.'s all claimed that was bullshit and refused to even try it! One of the family members INSISTED that they give it a try. So, he was given SOME and began to show SOME signs of getting better but reverted rather quickly. The family insisted he get more. He was given more and showed more signs of coming out of it. Again, he relapsed so, they demanded he get a lot more! The Dr.'s advised against it but the family forced their hand! Before long, he was out of his coma!! Last I heard, he's back to flying his plane, again!
4 years ago, my aunt was taken to the hospital where she wound up in a coma. They asked me to give them the okay to pull the plug on her. I told them to try massive C on her and they just flat out refused and practically forced me to give them the okay. Everyone was against me and all I could do was give them the okay!

When my son was on life support dying in the intensive care unit in the hospital with bacterial meningitis they wanted to pull the plug on him too. I refused to sign the paperwork to end his life. I told them that machine is helping him breathe!!
He is alive and well and 47 years old now. He was 18 when this happened to him.
The MOTHER is the child's FIRST DOCTOR!! Not a doctor - period!!
