I am old. I hate stairs. I bought my ranch house (which does have outside stairs) because we got it cheap and my wife's father built it 39 years ago for his mother-in-law. But, I have dogs and they get old and can't walk stairs... and I am no spring chicken either. I hate them.

I train on a stairclimber. I do 45 minutes at a 60 step per minute pace.

A flight of steps is 13-16 steps.

45 X 60 + 2700.

2700 steps / 16 steps per flight = 168.75 flights.
