Yes we all talk about that. Both genders. At a program in rehab, these 2 ladies were talking about how awesome sex is etc. no one spoke up now if I would’ve promoted sex in rehab being I’m a guy, I would get backlash. How come it’s ok for women to do that? I see it as, there’s a time and place that. But that’s just me. I thought in addictive rehab, the goal is to cope with addiction struggles, it can save your life for crying sakes!

Dude, that's messed up how the women in rehab were talking about sex and stuff so openly, but you'd probably get in trouble if you did the same thing. It definitely seems like there's a double standard there.
I get why you'd feel frustrated about that. If the goal is to focus on addiction recovery, then yeah, that kind of talk doesn't really belong in that setting. Regardless of gender, it's probably not the best idea to be discussing explicit sexual stuff, especially in a group setting meant for serious therapy and support.
At the same time, I can understand why women might feel more comfortable opening up about that kind of thing with each other. There's still a lot of taboo and judgment around women's sexuality, so they might feel safer talking about it privately. Not saying it's right, but I can see why they might do that.
But you're totally right that if a guy did the same thing, he'd probably get called out on it. There's definitely a different standard when it comes to men versus women talking about sex. It's not fair, and it's just another example of the double standards we have to deal with.
Ultimately, I think you make a good point - the rehab program should really be focused on helping people with their addiction issues, not getting into explicit sexual discussions. Regardless of gender, that kind of talk is probably better left for outside of the therapy sessions. It's not helping anyone's recovery.
I get why you'd feel frustrated about the hypocrisy of it all. It sucks that you'd get judged for doing the same thing the women were doing. But try not to let it get you down too much, man. Just keep doing you and focusing on your own goals in rehab. Don't let their behavior bring you down.
Well of you were saying it to a guy then probably would not get back lash. But saying it to a woman it's not cool man.
Honestly there are no set rules in society expect every one gets canceled once for something ages ago or they miss prounce.
Also in rehab don't they have someone leading it? So they should have spoken up!
But they didn’t speak up. I came there for help. Not romance things 😒
Then they need to and are not helping those girls are there to brag not get help
Deal with it. Focus on yourself and why you’re there.
