How to get a diagnosis/treatment/medications for it?

I’ve had ADHD for my whole life (I’m 23) even thought I never had a proper diagnosis for it, I’m pretty sure I have it, I always had many failures in subjects at schools and really have a high difficulty to focus/concentrate in class, is it a way that I could have a diagnosis/medications/treatment to cure it?

They have just come out with liquid Adderall which is for ADHD.
You would have to see a psychiatrist who would test you and prescribe stimulant medication for it.

My late boyfriend had ADHD and it is a pretty bad thing to have. I don't know how anyone can function with so many distractions going on around them.
In addition to the distractions he was always losing things. That's mostly because he would put something in his hand and walk off with it and put it down in a different place every time instead of the same place. This would be things such as his cellphone, keys which we never found and had to have new ones mad, his glasses 🕶️🤓, his wallet 🙄

And because the VA doesn't prescribe stimulants he used illicit meth and the last time he smoked it there was Fentanyl in it and it poisoned him and he died instantly from it.

You have to go to a doctor for that. Just your primary care doctor is okay. They can diagnose and prescribe meds.

Very doubtful you’d be admitted for that. Family doc can handle that easily.

Yeah, just look at what primary care facilities are in your insurance network and pick one to make an appointment.

Not totally sure but an urgent care MIGHT do something but you really need ongoing care and urgent care is more for emergencies.

To get medication and diagnosed, you'd see a psychiatrist. That's how I got mine and continue to get my adhd meds.
