Any places where I could get diagnosed for ADHD?

You can ask your doctor about it & stuff. I've had it since birth, but I know you can get tested for ADHD even in adulthood.

They do have medication for it. It doesn't cure it but helps with their behavior. A lot of people think early childhood vaccinations may cause this and autism. I think I have ADHD too but have never been diagnosed.

@Daniela1982 Vaccinations do not cause any of this. ADHD, autism, etc. is how their brain develops & works differently compared to a neurotypical brain. It doesn't need to be cured. It's all about routine & keeping a schedule when it comes to ADHD. But sometimes medication can be tricky because it all depends on if it works for the person or not. In adults they'll try other things like antidepressants before they decide to do ADHD med.

@PBandJ_Nerd With autism some kids can be very difficult to manage. You know how you can talk to yourself in your head? My nephew said he cannot do that he makes funny noises all night long, keeping his brother awake. He also acts up in school, hits other kids on the bus and getting kicked off, and can be disruptive. He can start a screaming fit if someone makes fun of him. But he does seem to be very intelligent. I mean how does a mother handle that? What will he be like when he turns into a teen?

@Daniela1982 I don't know. You might have to talk to someone who specializes in that who can help you figure out what works and how to manage. But I don't have autism so I can't say.

There are probably some online tests to give you a general idea, then ask your doctor. Don't take the online thing as the absolute truth, just to give you an idea.

Your GP can provide an initial assessment and refer you to a specialist if necessary.

I had to be evaluated by my primary doctor as well as a psychiatrist.
