First massage tomorrow, what should I expect?

I am going to a massage spa tomorrow to get my first massage. What should I expect?

You should really enjoy! They are the best!


Normally you will show up and they will give you a questionnaire about your health. Then after that they will send you to a room and ask you to undress. You can either leave your underwear on or go full nude it’s up to you and your comfort levels normally the massage beds are heated you lay down on your stomach and cover your bottom half with the provided sheet. Then the massage therapist will come back in the room. They will knock and ask if you are ready. Then they come in and start your massage. You can talk but don’t have to I normally just feel the person out sometimes they will start convo if you don’t feel like talking tell them they won’t mind. When they are done they leave you get dressed and you are good to go. Make sure you drink plenty of water afterwards!!! It helps release toxins after your massage if you don’t you can feel very sore.
