Firstly I was wondering does anyone still carry proper cloth handkerchiefs anymore? I'm guessing not, but boxes of paper hankies are a common household item. But what are most of yours used for?

My dad is 93, he still uses cloth handkerchiefs, AND goes through more tissues than anyone I’ve ever seen. He must have an untreated allergy or something, haha.

Anyway, he’s involved in the last usage too, I handed him one after giving him his medicated eye drops.

I now don't carry a cloth hankerchief, but I always carry at least 2 packs of the paper variety. They're so useful besides for their intended purpose. They are ideal for drying hands, wiping hands, if you've been dealing with something oily, or even cleaning shoes if they become muddy outside.

I haven't seen anyone carry a cloth handkerchief since my grandfather 45 years ago. I keep tissues in every bathroom and bedroom, the kitchen, and the family room. It's cold here Oct - April and I'm outside a lot. Running, shoveling snow, other outdoor maintenance, etc. My nose is always running from the cold dry air outside and the and the dust kicked up by a forced hot air heating system indoors..

Probably I'm one of those very few surviving cavemen to only carry and use classic cotton handkerchiefs, generally to blow my nose, and now and then to avoid making a mess of my underwear during an wank. I never use the paper version.
