I was carrying a 50lbs sack of animal feed and I tripped over a plastic bag, which caused me to hyper-extend the bones and muscles in my right food. Now if I try to fully extend or curl down with my toes, it hurts the top of my foot as well as the outside portion of my ankle. Normally, this is my "good" kicking leg, so it's important to me. I just went for a 3 mile speed walk, and I'm pretty sure I was 3 or 4 minutes off pace because my right foot kept hurting so much.
I don't want to go to a doctor for pain/injury that is "only" a 3 or 4 on a 10 point scale, but maybe I need to soak my foot in ice water or warm water or something. Does anyone have any ideas?
