Who here has one kidney?

Months ago, a cancerous tumor was found on one of my kidneys. The action was only tumor was to get removed. Had the surgery, and ended up removing the whole kidney. Fucking bullshit. I feel like a freak. I can never be perfect. I live in America and we’re expected to be perfect. What’s it like to be without an organ? Please don’t answer with “oh I dunno, I got all my organs”

I have an artificial hip. I am not perfect either but i was in a lot of pain and now I am not. I am glad the technology exists today.
Just tell yourself that you are still alive to fight another day. The cancer was detected before it could spread to the other kidney.
One of my best friends from high school had renal failure and spent every other day hooked up to a dialysis machine for 8 hours. Finally he got a kidney transplnt which comes with a new set of problems.
