I've got ADHD and it's pretty severe. I'm currently working on finding the right meds but currently I'm on Adderall and it's been promising. This winter though has been really rough as I also have bipolar, OCD PTDSD and seasonal anxiety disorder which basically means my mood swings with the seasons a lot mainly because of the reduction in sunlight during the fall and winter.

Thanks, we're working on it. The Adderall works great when I'm not depressed the problem is I spend most of the fall and winter depressed because of the S. A. D. lol I love that it literally spells sad it's too perfect. I've got a great therapist and we're experimenting with A. R. T. Therapy which has been helpful with stress relief, and my doctors listen to me well. We're making progress in some area's but others remain very difficult. Still I'm doing my best to move foreword.

I'm a guy with that form it. But usually that is common for girls. They used to call it ADHD/ADD. Now they shortened it to just ADHD.

Yeah not everyone has the hyperactivity so I don't know why they named it that.

I have one of the versions of "Driven to Distraction" by Edward M. Hallowell, M. D., and John J. Ratey, M. D. because I heard they were one or maybe the first to come up with the diagnoses. I guess some consider it to the be one of the best books on the subject. I currently still have the audio version.
