Do you use a manual or electric toothbrush?

Electric. Even with amazing technique manual is still not better than electric but at most equal.

While you do miss out on the little exercise motion and the ability to showcase your skill from early teen years to the world, its a small price to pay for better dental health.

Philips sonicare (they have different names). I'm dentist and my clinic has a contract with Oral-B who produces those shitty rotation electric brushes, which I would privately never recommend.

Manual. I dont get the hype over the electric. I make my kids use them because they are bad at brushing but since I'm a adult I know how to brush properly with a manual

I know how to do it too, but the electric one is way more thorough cleaning. If it’s made right and works the way it's supposed to. Maybe yours was just very low quality and sucked if you don’t get it.
