Im trying to lose weight. Im 5"9" and 220lbs. Im not hungry at all throughout the day, but at about 7pm I get very hungry, and eat a lot. Also my metabolism probably isn't as great as it use to be. So should I force myself to eat throughout the day so I don't pig out at night?

Ideally yes. It's better to eat many small meals than one or two big ones. I can relate to your problem as I was the type of person skip breakfast altogether, eat a snack for lunch, and then eat a big dinner. I lost about 70lbs. In 7 months and when I did that I ate 4 small meals a day (roughly 4 hrs apart). I was never full. But there was never really enough time for me to get hungry. I lost the weight, but I'll be honest, I never really got used to it.
Honestly I don't think it matters that much how much you consume when then what your overall caloric deficit is. I just think by many smaller meals it prevents you from getting hunger pains which might result in you overindulging and failing you goals.
That's exactly what u need to do 👍🏻
