1.6K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. My ultimate preference is to go to sleep at 5-8pm wake up around 11pm-4am, but since I live with loud people & in a somewhat loud environment, I can't sleep until like 10pm-12am. I've got hyperacusis so it makes it hard to just sleep whenever I want to or to even stay asleep if loud noises are happening. I'm such a light sleeper that I'll wake up from the floor vibrations of someone simply walking normally or even lightly in some cases when around me.
Ultimately I don't put too much stock into when I wake up. I've been around people who discriminated against me & others in petty ways simply because we chose to sleep later than them. In a superior way, they felt that we should be more like them & sleep earlier. It's weird. We're animals. The reason different sleep schedules are a thing & do exist is because our bodies are highly adaptable. So how can something be so wrong if the body is legit designed to adapt to it?10 Reply

1 yGot a garden to harvest and the figs are coming in. Gotta pick em and can 'em!
Also, have to water all the plants. Got lots in pots and in the ground. Takes me 20-30 mins at least to water the front and back beds.
I like staying up late too, though...10 Reply
1 yEarly bird, for sure! I try to get up each morning before 8am.

1 yI'm not an early birdie or a lazy bones. When I wake up is dependent on when I go to sleep. I've conditioned myself (not intentionally) to run on about 4 - 4 1/2 hours of sleep. If I go to bed at midnight, I'll wake up around 4 - 4:30 AM. If I go to bed around 2AM, I'll generally wake up around 6 - 6:30 AM. But once in a while my body demands more sleep and I can crash for 10-12 hours. I can also fall asleep almost anywhere including bare ground for a 30 - 60 minute nap, wake up, and go for another 8 hours.
10 ReplyO. Kay, so if we as people are going to live our lives to the max, donβt waste, you only live once.
So get up at least 07:00 hrs.
Get your seven-eight hrs sleep and then the rest, utilise it and condense as much of you into what you believe in.12 Reply- 1 y
My goodness, thatβs really quite impressive to say the least.
O. Kay, so thatβs rather an unfortunate pain in the backside to be having to arise even before the fowls of the air
But subsequently the peace and tranquility is not to be shunned.
In amongst the two hours earlier than my good darling self, you have inevitably got the advantage over others and, voilΓ , me, and found what is quite rightly yours, at least for a certain period of time, from the horse stables!!!
All in all, it does sound like you are utilising your time to your advantage, to say the least.
Depends on when my upstairs neighbors start fighting.

1 yHubby & I woke up at 5:50 this morning.
It's already 7:20 a. m. now.
In between 5:50 & 7:20, we've already had our usual morning sex, our 3-mile jog with the dogs and our breakfast.

1 yMy internal clock governs my activities, not a human concept of time.
11 Reply2.7K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Weekdays I wake up at 6:50am only because I have to I need about an hour to wake up before I go to work and I like to just sit and casually drink my coffee/eat breakfast in peace without a rush.
But If I'm not working or have nowhere to be in the morning then I don't wake up till 9:30am.

It's been a problem that has been going on for years. Last year I talked with my doctor about it, and He tried adjusting my medication to see if that is causing it or not. My Dad thinks it is because I get depressed.
Get up go for run get coffee.
