I do think cancer is horrible but in my opinion Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) seems like a worse condition and illness to have.

ALS is definitely a bad beat. You sit in a chair and your body betrays you. You die a long horrible death.

I was thinking Alzheimer's disease. You sit and drool all over yourself while waiting for somebody to change your diaper. The end is pretty much the same.

At least cancer has the decency to kill you. Multiple Sclerosis lets you live, so that you can continue to suffer for longer.
