9 moI am happy to read that they are making you euphoric. For me, antidepressants have made life *less awful* and I feel *less low* off of life. The difference is subtle, but often many aspects of the world ARE subtle. Life can still really suck, but rather than melting down I just get on with it and get done the jobs that I need to do.
Now I do understand the objections of some people here to antidepressant medications, but for many people they really do take the edge off, or in the case of @Simslover92 , make some people absolutely euphoric. There are also many different kinds of them now, and for person to person, "Your mileage may vary", as the automakers say.11 Reply- 9 mo
Thanks. Yeah it's not intense but I can feel the difference a bit. I'm just so thankful that it's actually working.

I am on Wellbutrin as well and it has helped me feel less stress an anxiety , that I was experiencing after losing my mom and my brother and my job , My doctor put me on it and it’s been helping me think clearer and helping me focus better as well, and helping me not give a shit about things that I use
To give a shit about lol. How many Mg’s are
You on?27 Reply- 9 mo
150mg. How about you? I hear that you will feel it even better on 300mg
- 9 mo
I am on 300 now but my doctor just increased it to 450 to help me maintain my weight better since I have a back injury that eliminates me from exercising like I use
To , apparently Wellbutrin helps with losing weight as well combined with Naltrexone , which I am on as well, it seems to be working good so far. - 9 mo
That's great! Yeah I was concerned about that as most antidepressants make you gain weight but this one doesn't seem to at all and seems to have the opposite effect which is good.
- 9 mo
Yeah I'm definitely more energized and can do a lot more
- 9 mo
That's great!

Thank you sis! ❣️ I do feel like a weight has lifted and I can carry on with my day like normal.
9 mothe medicine may help. However, I think the power is in your mind. I'm not a doctor but I know when a person believes they deserve to feel better and should feel better they begin to feel better. That medicine may be changing the chemical balance in your mind for the better or for the worse but I think the real power is you believing the "medicine" is makes you happy. The medicine could be a sugar pill if you believe its going to work the mind will make you happier. The human mind is more powerful then anything, let this medicine be a tool to show you make life everything it is. You deserve to Waking up on cloud nine everyday with or without the medicine in your life. Believe it!
10 ReplyI take THC (hybrid or Indica) and magic mushrooms from KOI. They helped me a lot. I was in deep depression and never got out of my room. Now I am rebounding rather intensely. Trying too many things, dancing, archery included. But am settling to predictable patterns like VB leagues and salsa classes. After almost 18 years I'm looking back at my life and starting over. When your mind is occupied with some activity it helps from negative thoughts. Comtemplating and venting on past is a hard habit to break out from.

9 moIt's great that it's working for you. It's not uncommon for people to have weird mood swings when on them in the beginning. I know a handful of people that were taking them to quit smoking and a few stopped because of the different moods they were having. Of course the dosage can be adjusted but I guess smoking was more important.
23 Reply- 9 mo
Thanks. I'm hoping I don't develop weird mood swings with the medicine. So far so good.
- 9 mo
Like anything else, some people have no issues taking them, it's very possible you are one of them. Good luck @Simslover92
- 9 mo
Thanks. I really hope so.
Never take anti depressants, they will kill you before they will cure you. When you take antidepressants you shut your emotional system down which prevents you from healing psychology. It does nothing goods for you except postponing the emotions that you felled before you started taking these meds. And I'm not even going to discuss the terrible side effects of anti depressants. As a woman it can destroy your reproductive system

Hey I commended on your anti depressants question and just for the record I wanna say this...
I'm definitely not trying to be judgmental at all because I don't know what you went through and neither can I blame you for seeking a way out of your depression because I also experienced extreme depression in the past and it's a difficult situation to be in.
I really just told my opinion about your question because I have obtained some knowledge about these medicines and I really want you to be in a place of happiness and good health.
You deserve so much so please try to stop asap with these meds because they are really killing you before making you any better. Also it becomes very difficult for other people to get an deep emotional connection with you.
Honestly... You would be better off addicted to alcohol or drugs to forget your emotions then antidepressants - 9 mo
Thanks for sharing. I'll keep that in mind and probably won't be on it for too long but I do need it right now because I was close to doing something I wouldn't have been able to come back from.
Glad to hear that @Simslover92 . You deserve it.
Me I woke up realising the administration in some countries and agencies could do with some of that you're taking while I found out banks are shafting customers by upto 13% on cash withdrawals WITHIN the EU.
At least I found a gym and had a workout to lower my steam.
11 Reply- 9 mo
Thanks and yeah that will definitely help!
9 moGlad to hear it's working for you. I've never had an antidepressant before but I have had oxycodone after I had a major surgery and that was probably the most zen I've felt in my life
11 Reply- 9 mo
Thanks and yeah I've taken oxycodone after an injury I suffered from working out too hard. It does indeed give you the most zen feeling.
Anonymous(18-24)9 moI was put on antidepressants after my mother died. I had to go off them because I was having strange thoughts, wasn't feeling anything and though I had zero sex drive i was making questionable decisions in regards to sex and sexual partners. I had no emotion, empathy, guilt.

9 moHonestly, I used to take Zoloft, it just kept me from crashing out. But keep in mind I used to do cocaine back then.

Oh well I don't think I can really go off that. 😅

Thanks. I think too I just have been having a very good week as well. And today just heightened that feeling for some reason that I suspect is the Wellbutrin kicking in.

9 mono, they mostly dull you down. you don't feel depressed but also not happy. kind of emotional limbo, which is better than being suicidal so that's why some people do take it.

9 moIt's possible initially but that's because your body isn't used to it. It will wear off in a week or so.
But it's obviously working, which is good.
10 ReplyI was completely against anti- depressants. I had an episode, where I had no choice. BEST DECSION
