Change the way your mind thinks about them. I don't like hot stuff so everytime I wanted to smoke and gave into the want, I popped a fireball in my mouth before I smoked the cigarette. When I would resist the urge I would reward myself with m&ms. I slowly quit smoking this way because I hated the spicy candy burning my mouth more then I enjoyed the smoking. Withdraw sucked bad i had a headache for like a month straight cause I tortured myself with fireballs and dragging the quiting process out. But the month or torture was worth it looking back. Cold turkey has never been my way

I did it cold turkey. It’s a two part addiction. It’s a physical and mental addiction. The physical only lasts 7 days with each successive days being easier than the day before. After that the nicotine is out of your body. The rest is learning to live without them. Good luck
