Idiot BJJ black belt attacks referee after evidently losing a match, and the ref curb stomps his ass. What do you think of this?

Real fighters wear belts to hold up their pants, not to display their skill level. It's kind of a no brainier that a referee of a Judo match would know Judo in order to judge the match. The referee is of a significantly higher weight class... probably at least 4 or 5 weight classes his senior and more skilled since he's the judge. Yet after a tiring fight the guy that likes to wear colorful belts decided to pick a fight with him. Clearly he doesn't know how to read his opponent.

Even as a state champion, they only let me run the score board at tournaments. I wasn't experienced enough and wasn't trained to be a referee yet... But they did want to get me involved in other aspects of the sport... Those who are better at the sport over time become coaches and referees to carry on the legacy of any sport.

This is one of my biggest criticisms of BJJ. They never train striking and striking defense unless they train in an actual "MMA Gym". This "black belt" is a paper black belt. There's no way he should get beat down that fast even against a bigger fighter if he actually trained striking and striking defense. The referee is probably a multi-degree black belt from an actual MMA gym.
