I don't really know in terms of health/scientific perspective, but it seems you're doing it due to surrounding pressure or so. Either negative smoking or just to match the vibe or so. Where the realistic harm is getting to be a full smoker.
As one says, smokers would put their enjoyment/feelings above our respect. For that, you shall clearly state your feelings too. As in to respect your choice and not smoke in your presence, or in a way that affects you.
I've come to extremly despise that attitude of smokers for that. Either I step out or they do, or I never meet them -in a condition I am affected- unless truly necessary. Where even about to call authorities to hold shop owner I work for accountable for smoking indoors.
Sorry if it didn't match your original question, but please be aware of that.
Life is about duties before about rights. A for all of us duty is to respect people's choices and not cause harm to them due to us simply enjoying our lives; trespassing freedom boundaries.
Forgot to say, duties vs rights is an old argument. It is that duties and rights are inseparable. And by me or you performing their duties, the other gets their rights and applies on us too. Asking for rights simply is to sit back and ask for them, while performing duties means that we are constantly on watch of ourselves to improve to guarantee rights delivered to others and us too. That's why we take it from duty perspective not rights. Where this international system is crooked. Hope it makes sense.
You might be dramatically lowering the probability of fatal consequences compared to heavy smokers, but if your goal is optimal health; the most beneficial decision is to eliminate the weekend habit entirely.
