I used to be anti smart watch. I shit talked people who wore them for the longest time rather than wearing a traditional watch.
Then came the day where my sister gifted my a garmin fenix and now I've been daily driving them for almost half a decade.
I don't have my watches connect for text or anything of that nature. I never did get over that aspect of my snobbery. However, in terms of weather, timers, workout tracking, sleep tracking, etc... it's become a core component in my daily life.
I use my smart watch functions for far more than just telling me the time.
With that being said, I've only ever used garmin fenix smartwatches so I cannot speak for any other brand or models.
Yeah.. they are beneficial
I like classic wristwatches, but also have a smartwatch. Not very, very smart. It basically keeps track of my daily step count, is synchronised with my watch and lets me control alarms and such.
It's just a basic model, I wouldn't pay more for more features.
I used to wear wristwatches all the time but I can’t do it anymore it’s useless tbh
They are nicer looking and some of them are really stylish for sure
Nah. The smartwatch is right up there on this list of useless inventions, just after the iPhone.
How come 😄
Yes and yes.
And yes
I do wear one and I’m team smartwatch all the way 😂
For me it’s super helpful for quick glances at notifications, steps, heart rate, and timers without digging for my phone, especially during work. Sleep tracking can be useful, but taking a break from wearing it at night is nice too. It’s all about balance and comfort 🤍

No. If I thought it would help me, I'd wear it.
I have 8 different nice watches. And maybe 20. 25 old watches and maybe 20 burger king mcdonald watches
But I don't wear any of them. When working or\nRings are chains or anything like that
When I do , I'd like to wear my watches sort of. Jewelry i can't wear to work is just to dangerous. Can be anyway
Cool collection 😊
If I was going to get a watch it be a normal classic one.
Also don't need companies tracking my personal data as I already got a smartphone don't need another device.
And lastly I'm sorry to say if the watch needs to have a phone to work optimally then it's a dumb watch not a smart one
Good point
Started wearing one ever since I had a stress induced heart attack- oh shit. Actually, it's been years and I never noticed I haven't been wearing it. I'm not even sure where it is.
I gotta get another watch
Buy a new one ASAP
A while ago, I ordered a Google Watch from Amazon. When I got it, it was a nightmare to try to set up. I actually got to the point where I couldn't get it to work properly, no matter what I did, and I couldn't get any technical support for it. I just sent it back to Amazon and got a refund. It was not inexpensive, but I'm kind of glad I don't have it now.
Hell, no. I don’t need another blinking and beeping contraption telling me what to do.
Ok 😄
I have a basic one. I've been thinking of upgrading to a Garmin Vivoactive 6..
I like tracking my workouts and sleep quality.
No sure don't. The last thing I want is greedy corporations monitoring my every heart beat. Connect nothing.
Smartwatches are the dumbest technology product I've ever encountered.
I wear an old school wristwatch, but I've recently started carrying my smartphone too. In short, no.
I have good watches and also have a smartwatch but they are standing in my closet !
No I don't ⌚ yet I do see how they're useful - I've seen friends, etc tap for payments etc
I voted No
I use to, but it irritated my wrist too much
I had this problem once.. I changed the band and because I wear it all the time, so I get this irritation when it get wet, now I always wipe it from water once it gets wet
Yeah I work in a kicthen so my arm is getting wet a lot
No, and I never would.
Why..
I see time on my cell phone.
no, I do not even wear a wrist watch.
I don't like to wear tracking devices.
Just wristwatches
No watch at all.
