I have not worn a watch for years. I use my cell phone it I want to know what time it is

I always wore a watch when I was growing up.
For my 25th anniversary where I worked, they gave me a really nice flexible watchband that had an 18 carat gold company logo with 3 diamonds (two.25 and one.5 carat).
After many years, that watchband broke and I had the emblem turned into a tie tack.
I didn't have a watch for the longest time after that and just used my laptop, cell phone, the clock in my car, clocks in the house, and whatever.
But I started missing a wrist watch. It's so easy just to quickly look at your wrist.
So my wife bought me one off the internet last Christmas. It has hands and is simple, which is what I wanted.
I do not own a wrist watch. I did once carry a pocket watch but it was stolen and I never replaced it.
I had this nifty watch that clipped onto my belt. I shattered the crystal and could no to get it fixed.

Looks cool!
Thanks for MHO!
I have a lady Hamilton I wear daily as part of my jewelry. It works, but i to get the battery changed everyb3-5 years. It’s small. But can still see the hands if I don’t have my phone on me.
my son wanted a watch. He is only 15.
At the cruise in during Feb break. He wanted the Movado. The sales person agrees with me that he can’t have that yet till he gets first job 😂
so we got him a citizen for now. oh we also won another watch from a waffle. My daughter kept that one. If he gets into cooper union. Well get him a Movado. Or whatever he wants.
yes we love watches heheeee
Oh wait… hubby got the citizen when we first met.
We bought a Bulova on the cruise. Duty free 😊.
We like watches.
He goes to school with kids who wear Boss shirts.
He always knew what he wanted since he was around 5…he won’t go for anything less.
@Staximus
not this kid. He is kinda stuck at age 15 with a 30 year old soul.
He makes sure all his stuff are in highest quality and standards. He makes sure everything is orderly.
Around 6-7 years old. I moved to an apartment. He makes sure I get an area rug asap. Makes his bed daily. Always helping me with ideas and household stuff.
Around age 11-12 years. Old, He started to calculate the cost of living if he was living on his own, he counted to the Pennie’s and dimes.
He also knows what he wants to study/career wise. Mechanical engineering or accounting. At the same time to save enough money to work with me to continue our real estate business.
He gets the number sense… I am just waiting for him to grow up a bit more. Get some experience then work with us to build the American dream 😉 hahahaa…
He already got himself a job at an accounting firm last year. We can offer him a decent watch, knowing he is a mature kid. He already wants a watch collection box to keep them in.
This is the kind of kids we are not raising nowadays … why are we not?
I do know there are still some who have a good head on their shoulders with great future ahead of them.
I wore a wrist watch since I was 11 years old until I was about 60 - and I didn't have a cellphone yet.
But my home has 12 clocks - some on the walls, some on my nightstand, stereo and cable box.
It's pure dread every time we have to change the clocks twice a year.
I also have 5 wall calendars - even one in the bathroom.
Hey.. time and place are important to me.🤷🏼♀️

Yeah i have a garmin smartwatch
yes, most of the time.
I probably have 30 of them.
From a G shock I wear at the station, it takes a beating, and body fluids come right off of it, to my Sub Mariner two tone with the older non ceramic blue face, and my Bulgari Octo Finissimo Titanium Automatic Chrono. It is really thin, about 2.5mm. Great for winter under sleeves.
I have novelty watches, one that actually has a bulb style thermometer on the dial it was 20 bucks, I had to buy it, to some vintage Accutrons.
To me a watch is a piece of jewelry that tells time.
I have a small drawer of attractive models like Ray Donovan has. Mine were moderately priced. Hope to own an Omega Sea Master 007 one day but time is running out. I also sometimes wear a Sinatra style Fedora to church and high end venues. In my view, wristwatches and themed (wedding and Marines) finger wings are the only jewelry the culture allows men to wear.
Yes, I don't walk around with my phone 24/7 and it's kinda crucial at work, if a child I'm taking care of seizures and there's no clocks around. Can't really tell them to wait a couple of seconds while I run for a phone.
I have a couple somewhere and a cool old titanium Casio. I don't wear wristwatches because I always break them. I also have a cool old pocket watch from the 1800s
I had a smart watch that I really wanted to wear but unfortunately because of my job it kept getting rather sweaty underneath and it ended up causing skin abrasions so I had to stop wearing it. Luckily it wasn't an expensive one
I was just thinking about that the other day because I saw a watch that I really liked. I was thinking about buying it but on the other hand, I have not worn a watch in over ten years. Most of us use our cell phones now a days. At least I am tanned on my wrist now. LOL
Zero jewelry. Not even wedding band. I told her I'm an electrician and three decades later she still believes me!!
I have a very nice analog wristwatch that I wear when we go out, which is not very often. Most of the time, though, I rely on my smartphone or the digital clock on the microwave.
I have two Tissot in steel, dial is "mother or pearls" and gold, black dial as add to jewellery. Otherwise I don't wear watches
More as jewelry than to tell time.
I once had my watch showing the wrong time for 2 days before I got around to setting it
Tried a few times. My wrist always got uncomfortable. Besides, like you said, that's what my phone is for
I will wear one on occasion. I treat it more like jewelry.
I used to wear one all the time. I got tired of having to take it off when I needed to stick my hand in a wall so I stopped wearing it. That was about 20 years ago
I have several wrist watches and pocket watches. I find it so much easier to read the time at a glance than anything digital. But then I like analogue, purely mechanical stuff.
For alarms, I do rely on my smartphone.
Yup diver watches are the best. Citizen eco drive.
I haven't had a wrist watch since I got my first cell phone.
Yes always, analogue though, I check the time if not sure with my Dorophone though
Just bought a gold Tissot PRX
I love it and would never be without a watch
I usually carry a pocket watch; but i own a few wrist watches.
Yes. Been wearing one most of my life. Both analog and digital
I do and switch it up now and again for watches my father owned and that I bought for myself over the years
It’s been years since I do use the cell phone as a watch but watches used to get kind of irritating on my wrist so I stopped wearing them
Nope, never, I also use my cell phone to know what time it is.
I honestly prefer pocket watches. Classier and you don't keep smacking it into everything with your wrist.
Belts, bracelets, watches, sunglasses and cologne I've never used. I assume that if for mature and attractive cool guys
I dont. I dont need it, as I can just check the time in the phone.
I wear one 24/7 it never comes off.
No I don't
I used to
I do wear a watch.
I don’t wear jewelry of any kind and never have
I don't but I really want to buy a nice one
