Can a 7-day water fast make you hallucinate or go crazy?

So I am aiming for 7 days fasting since I have fat stomach and I told my family that Im gonna fast so that they won't offer me food and my mom told me that I shouldn't fast because its bad and that will make me crazy because Im not eating I might hallucinate

No, but don’t do something overly physical, or you might pass out. Total diets should also be avoided because they cause longterm even more weight gain.

Seriously the body will go through a lot and fasting this way will make you weak. It's better to be careful for such extreme fasting.

Cause your body needs all sorts of things nutritionally that he can't get from burning fat and that isn't supplied by water. Like in an emergency situation, the body can "survive" through 7 days or more of just drinking but it sure as hell isn't healthy. Like not even speaking about basic vitamins or proteins needed, you'll create a potentially deadly electrolyte imbalance. And the fact that you're feel like going crazy shows that you're either dehydrating despite drinking water. The electrolyte imbalance in your body is probably so high that you're likely dehydrating and your brain could already have developed dopaminergic hyperactivity due to said imbalance.

Fun fact: your body needs electrolytes (sodium and others) to absorb water in the first place. If you keep loosing salt (sweating) and not replacing it, your bodies ability to absorb water will shrink. So the water will just end up running through you without hydrating you and making the problem even worse cause your body loses salt constantly.

So yeah. If you feel like going crazy, that's litterally your body starting to die. Better stop or at least talk to a medical professional.

There's other electrolytes your body needs to function. Your body is warning you that you're not fine. If you feel chest pain or your heart doing weird things, that's where you gotta start hitting the emergency breaks and carefully introduce proper nutrients first. Probably best in form of a pudding or a soup or else you coud fuck up your digestion and have a bowel blockage. Do you have conditions like any sort of cardiovascular issues or diabetes?

Well... That's probably your body reacting to a lack of potassium. Cause that can make your muscles including your heart spasms out. I'd seriously advise you to stop the fast or see a doctor if you are determined to continue. Like your body is already giving you severe warning signs. It's probably not a good idea to see what happens if you push through.

Like you not having had issues after 5 days means that's how long your body was able to compensate with what it had. Now it's starting not to be able.

No reason to panic. Chest pain can also come from several other things but it does need medical attention or turning back to normal nutrition at this point.
