Sorry , I probably didn’t explain it well enough.
Everywhere on the internet says a water fast is where you consume nothing but plain water.

So basically I’d only drink water for 3 days

Noooo, a fast is not recommended for anyone under 18. You're growing and going without the nutrients for any period of time is dangerous since your body needs fuel much more than an adult. This is highly dangerous, and even adults should consult a doctor first. Also, there have been studies showing that fasting can stunt growth in some cases.

Dont recommend they try it!! They could die without water for three days. Plus you'll have headaches and no energy and low blood pressure bc of no fluid in the veins.

You usually only want to do that if you're already physically fit but if you have not trained for it it can be very dangerous because of dehydration and other things. The only time I've ever really seen people use that type of diet is like professional boxers and Fighters but that's just for the way in

I really don't think that's good for a 13 year old. Ask a doctor first if you really want to put a child on that diet. Why would you though? If the child is overweight there are much better and healthier ways to do overcome that.

That's super unsafe. Water has no nutritional value, and you'd probably get diarrhea really bad tbh. You're at the peak of the growth process right now, you can't afford to skip on the nutrients.
