• 2:08 1/2 mile
• 4:42 mile

The summer I graduated from Airborne school and Ranger School, I came home for a couple of weeks afterward and a friend I used to run cross country with in high school asked me to do a 12 mile course he'd been training on. In my mind I hadn't been doing any serious running all summer so I thought I was gonna struggle. At some point I was flying and he told me to just go... I did. 5:03 per mile avg for 12 miles at the end. I felt great. Always wonder how much longer I could have kept up that pace. Oh my buddy? He ran out of gas and took a shortcut to arrive a quite a while after I finished.

But with a 24 year age gap you better outrun me, LOL.

I don't know how fast you are. I am not super fast or anything, but I am relatively quick. Probably a little above average for a girl.

I never did much in the way of hardcore athletics. Although I do enjoy going for a run from time to time.

@Circushowcowboy you would like it here then. I live in the midwest. You generally would think it is mostly flat. Not here. I live on a man made lake so the land is actually tops of hills/mountains. Up and down wherever you go.

It is just the tops of mountains so it is quick ups and downs, but they are everywhere. We can't play marbles here.
