This is has become unbearable heat and the humidity from outside seeps in through the cracks and makes it so uncomfortable 🥵 in my apartment.
There's no relief in sight from the 100°F weather 🌡️ as far as we can see.

I do have my air conditioner on high and coolest settings 24/7 but the hot sun 🌞 is pounding on my roof.😐

I also have tiny black particles coming out of my wall air conditioner and I'm wondering what they are. They are all over everything. Anyone know what they are?

Next 10 days here in DFW forecast to be a range from 98 to 109... that's Texas...
Those black particles could be a few things, rotten insulation, dirt, mold... please get that looked at, could be really harmful. At least someone to have a loook at the filters and coils and change/wash those etc.

here at Hellish, Texas... high HIGH temperatures are the norm during the summer

but yeah... the times in which the high humidity also builds up, that's when it becomes a punishment... lmao

so, more than the temperature... I do check for the humidity factor nowadays, lol

on your update... depending on what type of AC it is, it could be just some dust/dirt... all the way to the worst case of mold

so please get that checked out as soon as possible, those are not nice at all on the lungs

The maintenance guy looked at the particles and just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't know. 🤷🏽‍♂️

It started when he cleaned out my air filters with water and didn't dry it and just put it back in. I told him that we need to dry them first but he said no and that it will make it cooler in here if they are wet. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The A/C is 4 ft. from my bed so I am probably breathing that stuff 24/7.

Could be carbon particles from a filter in your A/C unit that is worn out.

Where I live it's been over 100°F and I don't have air conditioning, and I love it.

I recently travelled by train, and even though there was no air conditioning the temperature felt fine with me, but the person in charge of the train was handing out free water bottles, and he was complaining just like you, but he was working, and I was sat down.

I told him it's all psychology, I love the warm temperature because it doesn't happen very often, and more often than not summers are usually cold and raining.

• When I got off the train the heat hit me, and I was perspiring even in a shirt and shorts, but I soon cooled down again.

I would suggest you buy a small electric fan and aim it at yourself, the fan cools the body down by blowing the heat away, and try to appreciate the warm weather lol.

I have air conditioning and a fan blowing on me.

I think that because I am one of the 2% of people who never sweat, I have a hard time regulating my body temperature.
You cooled down after you perspired and I can't do that.

It's always hot here , I'm in Hua Hin Thailand , but it's only 79 deg at the moment as it's 8.12 am , it will only be around 93 deg today..

But I love hot so no problem for me , only place I use Aircon ( hate Aircon ) is gym and shopping centre..

I have an electronic thermometer outside and it has read 100F or more every day for the past week. I occasionally do some yard and tree work outside, and I do it in short spurts. Thank goodness our A/C is working. 75F inside is a welcome change.

Heat but not as high as where you are...

You need a newer and more powerful A/C

You can set a new which costs you cheaper bills and more powerful...

You're A/C is old, it swallows the current which results on high electricity bills and and produces weak cooling...

Time to switch to an inverter a/c

Thank you, I will ask him. They won't allow any other A/C units but the ones we have.
And I am still wondering what all of the tiny black particles are that are coming from my air conditioner and are all over the place.🤔

These particles are dust particles mixed with mold, totally unhealthy for your lungs and health!
