How early do most women notice pregnancy, and how rare are late discoveries?

No my wife isn't pregnant zbut I have heard stories of women who have no idea they are pregnant until late in the pregnancy. Sometimes until month 7 or even month 9.

How common is that kind of thing? If it's not common, how early in the pregnancy can she notice? What are some signs to pick up on?

I knew I was pregnant immediately. I knew I was pregnant even where the test came back negative because it was too soon to detect the pregnancy hormone.

I can’t imagine how anyone could go through a pregnancy without morning sickness, aching growing breasts, a growing belly, feet in the ribs, or feeling someone else kicking, hiccuping, rolling, or using their bladder as a trampoline. That’s not to mention the normal loss of a menstrual cycle, intense cravings and repulsion to certain foods, or leaking breast milk.

I wondered 🤔 why their belly didn't get bigger.
Then a woman who I worked with said that some girls/women carry their baby more inside towards their back area. 🤰🏼🤷🏼‍♀️

@sage2021 I carried high, I carried low, but never could get my pants buttoned! I think a woman has to already be obese to not look pregnant when she’s 6, 7, 8, or 9 months pregnant.

My husband noticed 10 days after conception. He said that my boobs are getting bigger. So he knew before I did.

I have 2. We were planning… so we were expecting. I have normal cycles… the earliest is when I missed my period… so after about 6-8 weeks…then we got an otc pregnancy test kit.

the other scenarios… I have heard… for those who uses drugs (birth control pills)… or over weight or have different diets … I have no clue just like themselves… no clue. Because there is no pattern with their cycles of diet.

Late discoveries are mostly going to be in obese women, since their change in size isn't as obvious and their periods are going to be less regular anyway. I knew at 5 weeks, and in hindsight had symptoms even at 3 or 4 weeks
