MMA enthusiasts: Alistair Overeem Or Brock Lesnar at UFC 141. Who wins?

It feels really odd betting against Overeem I mean he is a K1 champian and held 3 belts consecutively but I really think better wrestling pretty much always outcompetes striking. Take a look at what happens with GSP, Rashad Evans when he went against Thiago Silva, Brock Lesnar against Shane Carwin. Cain Velasquez especially. Unless the striker can defend a take down well to be able to keep it standing, its gonna be pretty hard to manage a win. Especially with a wrestler like Brock who managed to take everyone down he's so far faced. Alistair does have ground game but I'm not sure if it will be good enough, Alistair is best standing.

I think Overeem will really be able to control the striking matchup. If Overeem wins, it will be in the first round or he will have battered Brock enough in the first round so that Brock couldn't come back. As the fight goes on, Brock's strength, power, and wrestling will win out.

Overall, I think Brock wins by TKO in the 2nd round. Should be a fantastic fight.

I think if Brock stops being so stubborn and closed off (he doesn't like to go to different camps to train or bring fighters in to train with him who he isn't freind with) he really could get awesome at boxing, if what he done with heath herring is anything to go by. If he works on his stand up, it will be pretty awesome.

I like Overeen and he is by FAR a much better striker then brock technically but I don't think he will be able to keep it standing
