Smelling bad in front of crush :(

Omg, I'm so embarrassed. I'm a really cute girl and fresh too. But once I was so stressed out in school, and then I think I was a bit smelly.

Anyway, so this girl told me right out that I smell, and that I smell sometimes.

And my crush was close by. I'm so scared he heard, or that she told him later behind my back because they are friends.

Im so scared and embarrassed. What if everyone thinks I'm smelly :(

Im scared this might haunt me, because what if I become known as the "smelly girl"? Because a few instances like this can ruin your reputation forever! I'm really scared, because the people at my school can be harsh.


Plus the girl who did this is a big bitch and also likes to gossip!

Well they're is a simple way to fix this. Shower more, put more deodorant on, and use more body spray. If you smell, than it means you lack hygiene, which is why it is so unattractive for people not to shower. Not only do you smell (gross) but you also show that you don't care about how you present yourself. Showering every day would take care of the smell.

That is probably true for lots or most people..but there are a few individuals that can shower in the morning and have a smell about them by noon...it is not unpleasant to me (particularly if female)..

Allright, well I feel like I'm unclear on the definition of smelling then. She means "smelling" like a bo smell right? Because not smelling like shower products is not inherently unattractive, but smelling BAD is kinda gross.

I agree. But what if this haunts me? What if they can't see past my "exterior" mistakes even if I change? See, in school I sometimes wear sweatpants, and I've been so dedicated to school that I just haven't paid attention to myself the way a normal person is supposed to (again, I'm usually cute and fresh)

Just make sure you wash daily, use deoderant and keep a little body spray on you if you're worrying about it!

If it still doesn't get better go see your doctor!

Nothing you can do about it now so don't worry about it. She may have said something to him but if she did what can you do about it now? Carry an extra thing of deodorant and body spray and spray yourself in the middle of the day lightly (don't overdo it).

I don't mind some body odor and it can be sexy...very few people are going to like it when your armpits smell like old onions tho...O:O

First off, she's not a bitch for telling you about it, she actually did you a favor.

You can't change him hearing about it one way or the other but what you can do is control your body odor and that way show him what he heard was false!
