No only if I know them. My nephew wears a Hello that stinks like a garbage can
I told him if your wearing that crap don't come to my house. He said why I said because you stink.

I said next time you walk through a store. Watch people Scatter 50 feet away from you.
Because they can smell you comin.

He said no I said yes his girl friend was standing there. I said I bet your girlfriend doesn't even like it. He said yah she does. She mad a little face.. I busted up laughing I said no she hates it to she's just being kind. He looked at her. Asked if it was true she looked at me I said tell him you have to tell him for God sakes. Let me give him something good to wear she said yes I hate that smell

People don't understand Perfume and Cologne mix with the oils of your body. And can or will change the snell of it alittle bit sometimes

Not strangers. Just move away. I've told my young adult son when he smelled offensively funky and FINALLY got him to use better deodorant. He is no longer funk central. Though I've heard there are women who love man funk.

My dad always smelled wonderful. I am not one of those women. And was never with a funky man.

But funky strangers. Nothing you can do about the body care or lack of of others. And you risk starting a fight of some kind. Move to another seat, stand up, or get away.

I've run into this using computers at the library. Homeless and clueless people. It's sad. You could wear an N95 mask. Very thorough at keeping out funky odors.

No, when someone smells bad around me, I'm not eager to tell them, out of good manners of course, and because the involved person may feel very humiliated. Case sensitive also, because some people have for instance just eaten some smelly food, or drunk a glass of Whisky, or had a difficult day running around (sweat), etc.

Mind that if it's a bum, a tramp, a homeless, I just stay at a distance, and certainly do not annoy the person by teling them about smells. Life is not easy for them, and patience and good manners required on behalf of other citizens.

Things are a bit different when it comes to good friends and people we live with, because of the built up confidence in each other. But even then, there's a sensitive way to tell them.

A random person, no. If a friend, then I think it would be better for them to be aware so they can avoid embarrassment elsewhere. But I'd tell them in a careful manner.

Honestly, yes, I do tell people if they smell bad, but I always try to say it in the nicest and most polite way possible.
